Angela McCraw-Hester is behind bars now after pleading guilty to the murder of Annastasia Hester, who was 34 years old at the time of her death, on November 16, 2020.

Angela McCraw-Hester, her ex-wife, and husband brutally stabbed Annastasia Diane 60 times at their Gresham home in 2016.

This heinous homicide prompted a sting operation by US law enforcement, which resulted in the capture and imprisonment of the offenders.

This Friday, May 6, NBC dateline will air a two-hour show regarding the aforementioned incident. The episode titled the wreck, according to Josh Mankiewicz, will detail every detail of the murder, from the interviews to the court proceedings.

Where Is Annastasia Hester’s Murderer Angela McGraw Now?

Angela, then 38 years old, pleads guilty to second-degree murder in November 2020. As a result, she was condemned to life in jail with a 25-year parole potential.

Matthew also told authorities that his wife was the one who committed the crime and that he helped clean up the blood when she arrived home on June 10th.

Matthew and Angela also talked about killing Annie or having her killed in the past. Matthew was in anguish; according to her defense, thus his statements were forced.

While Matthew Hester initially denied his wife’s involvement in the murder, he later confirmed it to detectives after his DNA was recovered at the crime scene.

Since then, Matthew and Angela have divorced. According to prison records, Angela is currently held at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville, Oregon.

Angela McCraw-Hester, 38, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of release after serving 25 years for causing the death of Annastasia Hester, 34, according to Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt, but the photo is still unavailable.

By pleading guilty to one count of second-degree murder, McCraw-Hester admitted that she unlawfully and willfully entered Ms. Hester’s residence and killed her.

Based on the evidence gathered during the investigation, law enforcement concluded that McCraw-Hester left her home in the 12000 block of Southeast Ramona Street in Portland, Oregon, with Ms. Hester’s ex-husband, and drove to Ms. Hester’s apartment complex in Gresham.

McCraw-Hester presumably entered Ms. Hester’s ground-floor apartment by removing a window-mounted air conditioning unit and a cinder block when she arrived at the apartment complex.

How Was Annastasia Hester Murdered?

According to court records, Anastasia Hester and Matthew Hester were married five years before divorcing in 2012. They were accused of breaking into Annastasia Hester’s apartment by removing a window-mounted air conditioning unit.

Inside the flat, investigators detected McCraw’s DNA on a block of kitchen knives. Investigators gathered video evidence of McCraw-Hester traveling to and from Ms. Hester’s Gresham apartment.

On surveillance video, a car matching Angela McCraw’s was also observed leaving Hester’s apartment shortly after the 911 call. In 2017, US Marshals captured her in Pocatello, Idaho.
